The Fighting Irish won in the 400-yard free relay with a time of 3:19.17 and were third in the 200-yard free relay.
Feb. 9, 2022 The Cathedral boys swim team won the TAPPS, Division I state title in San Antonio.
Javier Terrazas was third in the 100-yard backstroke and fourth in the 500-yard freestyle, Fernando Perez was third in the 100-yard freestyle, and Eli Villalva was third in the 200-yard IM to help lead the way for Cathedral.
On the girls side, Loretto Academy was fifth out of 20 teams with 136 points. Tenley Reha was fifth in the 200-yard free and seventh in the 100-yard backstroke to help lead the way.
